Susanne Helmes ist Performance Künstlerin und lebt in Köln und Mallorca.
Als Ethnologin und Kunsthistorikerin kam sie über Umwegen zur Bühne, machte eine Ausbildung in klassischer Pantomime und modernem Tanz, arbeitete als Strassenmime und war weltweit als Kellnerin tätig.
Seit 1985 ist sie verbunden mit „Time and Space Limited“, Linda Mussmann und Claudia Bruce, New York , die mit Merce Cunningham und John Cage ihre Mitstreiter im Dschungel der Künste gefunden hatten.
Diese Zusammenarbeit besteht bis heute – intellektuell und physisch.
Attacke!
Gründung von SusaHee Performance, mit Basis in Köln, als eine eigenständige, selbstproduzierende, kompromißlose Eine–Person-und-Mehr Gruppe.
Die Grundlage ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern unterschiedlicher Sparten.
Von 2002 – 2014: Projekt AZUL, TanzTheater mit und für Kinder und Jugendliche auf Malloca.
Ab 2016: FLIPBOOK – interdisziplinäres und internationales Festival auf Mallorca zum künstlerischen Austausch mit Präsentationen im öffentlichen Raum.

Susanne Helmes works as a Performance Artist and lives in Cologne, Germany and in Mallorca, Spain. She studied anthropology and art history (M.A.), mime and modern dance, worked as a street mime and served tables all over the world.
Since 1985 she is connected to „Time and Space Limited“, Linda Mussmann and Claudia Bruce, New York, to collaborate with in mind and work with in person.

In 1984 she founded SusaHee Performance , based in Cologne, Germany as a self-producing, do-it-yourself and nevertheless one-person-and-more-group.
She produces Solo- and Group Performances and works together with artists of all different genres.
From 2002 – 2014: Project AZUL, DanceTheatre with and for Children and Youths at Mallorca.
Since 2016: FLIPBOOK – interdisziplinary and international festival at Mallorca for artistic exchange with presentations in public space.

Susanne Helmes es artista dedicada al mundo de la performance y vive en Alemania y Mallorca. Licenciada en Historia del Arte y Etnología hizo rodeos para llegar al escenario; se formó en pantomima clásica y danza contemporánea, trabajó como artista callejera y de camarera en todo el mundo.
Desde 1985 Susanne Helmes está estrechamente vinculada con el proyecto Time and Space Limited de Linda Mussmann y Claudia Bruce, Nueva York, que han encontrado en Merce Cunningham y John Cage sus compañeros de reparto en la jungla de las artes.
Esta colaboración sigue existiendo hoy en día – tanto intelectual como físicamente.

Se fundó „SusaHee Performance”, con sede en Colonia, Alemania, como grupo independiente, autoproducente y sin compromisos – formado por una persona o por varias.
Fundamentalmente se trata de una colaboración con artistas procedentes de diferentes géneros.
De 2002 – 2014: Proyecto AZUL, DanzaTeatro con y para niños y Jovenes en Mallorca.
Desde 2016: FLIPBOOK – un festival interdisciplinario y internacional en Mallorca con la finalidad de trabajar diferentes enfoces en actividades en grupo y presentaciones a sitios públicos. Es un excambio artistico… en la diversidad se encuentra la unidad!
